00. Expanding Consciousness Course

Expanding Consciousness CourseOur 6-hour course (including a 112-page Course Manual) provides the essential groundwork for the further evolution of human consciousness. In the process of exploring how members can expand their mind/body/spirit consciousness and then bring that greater wisdom and creativity into their organization, this course necessarily includes an overview of the eight tracks of quantum transformation—which are subsequently examined in detail in our remaining online courses. In addition, this course also provides an overview of the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Model, since it's necessary for members to first resolve their four foundational—inner—conflicts, before their organization can fully benefit from their expanded consciousness. 0. Quantum Transformation Course

Quantum Transformation CourseOur 5-hour Quantum course (including a 128-page Course Manual) provides a grand overview of our entire series of online courses and assessment tools. 1. BASIC Training in Conflict Management

BASIC Training in Conflict ManagementOur 80-minute BASIC course (including a 32-page Course Manual) focuses on the TKI and how to interpret your results (as well as those of other people) with regard to five conflict-handling modes: competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding, and accommodating. But first you'll learn about the underlying dimensions of conflict management: assertiveness and cooperativeness. And you will also be exposed to three additional dimensions for interpreting conflict-handling behavior: the distributive, integrative, and protective dimensions. If you haven’t had much exposure to conflict management and the TKI, this course is a great introduction in a short amount of time. But if you've had considerable experience with the TKI yet want to make sure that you know how to use this assessment tool to its full potential, then skip the BASIC course and proceed with the advanced version.

2. GROUP Training in Conflict Management

GROUP Training in Conflict ManagementOur 3-hour GROUP Training (including a 56-page Course Manual) provides consultants, trainers, and coaches with the knowledge to use the TKI for improving how conflict is managed in any group setting. This course recommends that group members take two TKI assessments with modified instructions: (1) INSIDE your group, how do you usually respond when you find your wishes differing from those of another group member? (2) OUTSIDE your group (across all other settings in your life), how do you usually respond...? The results can then be sorted into HIGH and LOW scores that show how conflict modes are being used both INSIDE and OUTSIDE a group. This course provides guidelines (and examples) for properly interpreting these Group TKI Profiles: to pinpoint how a group can significantly improve its conflict-handling behavior for achieving greater success and satisfaction.

3. ADVANCED Training in Conflict Management

ADVANCED Training in Conflict ManagementOur 8-hour ADVANCED Training (including a 134-page Course Manual) provides an even deeper understanding of the TKI. For example, you will learn how certain enduring psychological traits predispose people to use different modes for resolving conflict. Once you become aware of the connection between your traits and your modes, however, you’ll find it easier to use each conflict-handling mode as needed. In this advanced course, you’ll also learn the ten key principles of group process and then you’ll learn the five steps of problem management. And finally, all these key principles and action steps are all combined in the Problem Management Organization, or PMO for short. In a nutshell, this more advanced material is precisely what will allow you to use the TKI to help resolve conflicts and problems in complex systems, including organizations, communities, and nations.

4. Culture Management Course

Culture ManagementBuilding on all that is learned in the ADVANCED course, our 6-hour course on Culture Management (including a 132-page Course Manual) focuses on the culture track, the first of eight tracks for succeeding at systemwide change and improvement…which is now termed: quantum transformation. Without first establishing a culture that fosters trust, candor, openness, information sharing, and a willingness to work with diverse others, it will be most difficult for any work group or organization to manage its problems and conflicts successfully. 5. Critical Thinking Course

Critical Thinking CourseAlso building on what you learn from our previous courses, in our 6-hour Critical Thinking Course (including a 98-page Course Manual), you’ll learn how to uncover the false assumptions behind your most cherished beliefs, which is based on the powerful method of Assumptional Analysis. Because there has been so much dramatic change in the world during the past few decades, most of us are unconsciously making assumptions about key stakeholders that ONCE might have been true, but are now clearly false. By using the steps of assumptional analysis (in the second track of eight tracks of quantum transformation), you’ll be able to uncover and then revise your false assumptions, so your decisions and actions will now be based on today’s updated reality, not yesterday’s outdated fantasy.

Team Management

As compared to our other online courses, Team Management spends relatively less time on presenting new concepts and theories. Instead, Team Management (a four-hour recorded course, including a 190-page Course Manual) provides consultants, trainers, and work groups with expert guidance on how to make the best use of team-focused assessment tools and work sheets for experiential learning. Concentrating on behavioral learning and change will enable groups to readily apply all the key principles and practices from the first three tracks of quantum transformation—directly into the workplace and on the job. 7. Strategy-Structure Course

Strategy-Structure Course

Building on the first three tracks of quantum transformation (from our three course sequence on Culture Management, Critical Thinking, and Team Management), in a 3-hour recorded course (including a 138-page Course Manual), you'll learn how members can effectively self-design and self-manage the two most important formal systems in their organization: strategy and structure. Strategy answers this question: Where are we headed? Structure answers this question: How are we organized to get there? If the answers to these two questions are based on outdated—false—assumptions about key stakeholders, however, everything else that members do will be irrelevant. In this course, you'll learn how a Problem Management Organization (PMO) can be established to uncover and then revise the false assumptions behind alternative formal systems. 8. Reward Systems Course

Reward Systems CourseBuilding on the four previous tracks in quantum transformation, in a 4-hour recorded course (including a 142-page Course Manual), you'll learn how members can effectively self-design and self-manage the reward policies and practices in their organization, so they'll be inspired to achieve high performance and satisfaction. Dr. Kilmann presents the major concepts in the "Dynamic Model of Performance Cycles," which demonstrates whether a reward system produces either a growth cycle or a vicious cycle—depending on the credibility of the reward system. 9. Process Management

Process Management Course

Once the strategy-structure track has revitalized the organization's strategic vision, members are ready to proceed with the last three tracks of transformation: gradual process, radical process, and learning process improvement—all provided in a four-hour recorded course (including a 248-page Course Manual). Building on the effective behavioral infrastructure developed during the first three tracks, members learn to see their work as a process—as a flow of tasks and decisions—which can be explicitly described, statistically controlled, and continuously improved.
